Built for heavy-duty Sprinter van applications, this Roadmaster base plate kit mounts directly to the frame and uses removable front arms for a cleaner appearance when the tow setup is not in use. The direct-connect design eliminates the need for a crossbar, making hookup faster, easier, and cleaner looking compared to traditional base plate systems.

Tow Bar Compatibility

This direct-connect base plate kit is designed to work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch receiver, including:

• Roadmaster Sterling
• Roadmaster Blackhawk
• Roadmaster Blackhawk 2
• Roadmaster Falcon
• Roadmaster Falcon 2

Important: This kit does not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball.

Important Safety Cable Note

The EZ Hook safety cables included with Roadmaster Sterling tow bars will not work with direct-connect base plates. These cables are designed to attach to an anchor plate on a Quick Disconnect crossbar, which is not used with this direct-connect setup.

Clean Removable Design

The removable drawbars, also called front arms, are easy to install and remove using retaining pins. Once removed, the remaining brackets are mostly hidden, helping preserve the factory appearance of your T1N Sprinter Van. On most 2001-2006 Sprinter Vans, the brackets mount within the front grille area, keeping them protected and visually discreet.
