Most people purchase Vans so they can take lots of people and lots of gear without towing a U-haul trailer or bringing along a second car. What happens when you have too many friends? Where are you going to put all that gear? An Aluminess roof rack, of course! Whether you have the factory Sprinter van with a low roof or high roof, or Sportsmobile penthouse top(pop top), we have a rack that works for you.

Our aluminum roof rack is perfect for carrying cargo boxes, surf boards, or just lounging around and watching the world go by. It is available with various flooring options from tread plate, which is perfect for lawn chairs and walking around, to slats which are great for tying down precious cargo (like your wife’s shoes). The standard length on the roof rack is from the rear of the van up to the back of the front doors. This gives ample storage space while keeping cargo behind your head and reducing noise.

STANDARD ROOF RACKS

Our standard racks are available in two styles with two options for flooring:

Double Loop – Our most popular style. This rack is shaped like a basket to help lash down cargo from all ends and comes standard with a spot to mount lights in the front.

Touring Style – offers a drop-down front pipe for light bars and a tailored look to the sloped roof.

Flooring – 3” wide slats with 2.5″ gap – Offers the ability to secure various items on the roof rack in any location and a 2 ½” gap provides adequate flooring for walking/sitting on the rack.

Flooring – Perforated – Offers a full support floor while saving some weight over a solid sheet.

Vent Openings – Whether you have installed a MaxxFan, Fantastic Fan or an AC unit, we are able to accomodate all types of vent openings in all of our roof racks.

Additional accessories are bolt-on options such as crossbars, boat rollers, and solar panel mounts. This allows us to ship products from stock and create shorter lead times. Additional roof rack accessories ship for free.
