Important Installation Note for 2002–2006 Sprinter Van Taillight Bulb Holder
The genuine Mercedes bulb carrier and 99% of the Aftermarket Kit as well ships these units with the lower bulb socket (for the parking light) disabled by default.
If you want the lower parking light to function, you’ll need to modify the assembly. This is a common and well-documented quirk with this part. Many owners have successfully enabled the feature by following simple modifications.

Important:
The bulb holder comes fully functional out of the box with all required safety and brake lights operational. The only modification needed is if you want the lower parking light to work.
